1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email address, and phone number. When verifying suite ownership, we collect your legal name and proof of ownership documents.
We also automatically collect usage data such as pages viewed, actions taken on the Platform, and device information to improve our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Verify suite ownership
- Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers
- Display your contact information on listings (as configured by you)
- Send transactional emails (password resets, application updates, new messages)
- Send SMS text message alerts for new listings and price drops on events you're watching, only when you have explicitly opted in to SMS notifications via the profile settings checkbox
- Improve the Platform and user experience
3. Information Sharing
Your contact information (email, phone, messenger) is shared with potential buyers only when you include it in a listing. You control which contact methods are displayed on each listing.
If you opt into the Owner Directory, your name, suite information, and selected contact details will be visible to other verified suite owners.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
4. SMS Text Messages
Fire Suite Exchange offers optional SMS text message notifications for new ticket listings and price drop alerts on events you are watching. SMS is entirely optional and is not required to use the Platform.
To receive SMS notifications, you must explicitly opt in by checking the SMS notifications checkbox on your profile settings page and agreeing to the consent disclosure. When you opt in, we record the date, time, and method of your consent.
Message frequency varies based on your watched events (approximately 0–5 messages per week). Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by unchecking the SMS setting in your profile. For help, reply HELP to any message.
Your phone number is used solely for delivering SMS notifications and is not sold, shared, or used for any unrelated marketing purposes. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for full details.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure session management. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use local storage to save your preferences such as theme settings and bookmarked listings. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data.
7. Your Rights
You may:
- Update your profile information at any time
- Choose which contact methods to display on listings
- Opt in or out of the Owner Directory
- Opt in or out of SMS text notifications at any time via your profile settings or by replying STOP to any message
- Request deletion of your account by contacting us
8. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Listing data, including sold listings, is retained for pricing history and analytics purposes. You may request account deletion at any time.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform.
